After a very long and rough week I needed to blow off some steam and what better way then by "Rocking with the best"!?
 

That's right, Laidback Luke, world renowned Dj/Producer from the Netherlands blew up Mod Club last night with his high energy Dutch Electro style. 

Some highlights of the night were when he dropped, Sidney Sampson- Riverside, Lil Wayne - A Milli (Paul Anthony Mix), and In for the Kill vs. I gotta feeling.  

But with out a doubt the highlight of the night was when Laidback Luke dropped, Mstrkrft - Heartbreaker (Laidback Luke Mix).
 

Mod club is a great venue in regards to size, layout, capacity, sound & lighting. Drinks are reasonably priced ($6.50 bar rail), and overall the crowd was good (positive and there to have fun). The set up and capacity of the venue make it the perfect spot for live performances and big name dj's. 

  

I would guesstimate the venue holds around 1000 people. it consists of a large main room with a stage at the back of the room. As well as a second "balcony style" level in addition to a second room upstairs. The lighting and sound were top notch, although the sound from the second room did come into the main room a bit, which at times was a little annoying. 
 

Overall, in regards to Laidback Luke, two thumbs up for energy, crowd interaction, track selection, and for over all performance. No complaints, and I definitely look forward to checking him out next chance i get.
